Ever met a tough accountant?…I have RICO….that’s right, the person I have done literally 100s and 100s of rounds with is a number cruncher.
Yet, he is without a doubt one of the toughest men I have ever met in my life.
Although big Rico has a softer side… He is well known for tying a ribbon around a piece of his anatomy and giving it to his girlfriend as a present…which she willingly accepted…ha ha ha
I am very proud to call Rico a good friend, not only to me but to my family and friends. He is a man of exceptional integrity and honour who has faced serious personal adversity head on and conquered it.
Rico defies the image that many have of boxers… he is intelligent, has kept a very straight nose and now into his 40s maintains a strict training and diet regime.
My 3 year old Isaiah calls him ROCCO…and loves him to death. I just call him a great mate and I know that we will be swapping punches and laughs for many many years to come.
Rico is about to leave our shores on an adventure overseas… All at Team Chopper wish Rico a happy and safe trip and our thoughts and prays are with him.
